The new release of Kazakh Riesling, vintage 2018, is crafted in a dry style. The wine was aged mainly in acacia barrels, with a small portion in oak, for 8-9 months. Initially restrained on the nose, it gradually reveals aromas of honey, dried herbs, and lemon zest, with a subtle touch of characteristic petrol notes.
On the palate, it shows green apple, lemon zest, and hints of lemon cheesecake, balanced by bright, refreshing acidity.
The finish is long and lingering.


The vines of our Kazakh Riesling were planted in 1983 on their own roots - a feature that gives this wine its truly distinctive and incomparable character.

Tasting Profile

A beautiful, floral nose of stone fruits and blossoming fruit trees, mixed with mild citrus notes, a hint of warm baking spice, and a very soft touch of earthy petrol. Off-dry and incredibly lively on the tongue. It features pronounced flavors of fresh lemons, green apples, and sweet lemon sorbet. Exceptionally well-rounded. The split wood-and-steel aging yields a creamy, buttery body that perfectly balances out the wine's vibrant, crisp fruit acidity.
