Wine Maker's Note

2015 was a very hot year, which is reflected in the Saperavi of 2015. Since our Saperavi is filled with polysaccharides, which requires a long and slow fermentation, the wine was aged in oak barrels to smoothen the tannins and promote roundess and softness.

It has ruby colour and aromas of dark berries, cinnamon, sweet cherries and notes chocolate and coffee. Full-bodied with a wide spectrum of tastes that are especially revealed upon decanting. Many experts gives this wine high points, but it is worth noted that this wine will be even better in 5-10 years, showing all its properties and becoming even more elegant, aromatic and delicate.
